For individual files, I invoice your firm on an agreed upon hourly rate starting when you give an RFP the "go" call, to final submission of the proposal.
I can meet with you if you're located in the Ottawa area, or I can work remotely if you are located anywhere else in the world. I'll read the RFP, and provide you with an email list of 'next steps'. Your team then feeds me info, which I edit, evaluate and compliance check, in addition to drafting and adding further content for your approval.
Unfortunately not. The quality of the final submission is based on the quality of info you provide to me. In the end, it is up to your team to put its best foot forward.
Not at all. I need you and your team to be the expert. I'll tell you whether or not you're hitting the mark.
I hold a valid Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute (PMI), as well as a Foundation Level certification (CF-APMP) from the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
I'm often asked "what do you do?" by firms seeking to engage my services. What they are really asking is 'what part(s) of the proposal process do you undertake?' The answer is as many or as few as required. A firm may engage me to draft a single CV and matrix for a submission, or create a set of templates and draft sections within my capability (ie. project management approach) or manage the entire process from start to finish. Find the solicitation, circulate it to the team for a go/no-go call. Create templates. Create the proposal schedule. Set meetings and draft checkpoints. Draft content. Interview SMEs and consultants. Receive inputs, and quality control them. Build the final submission (Technical, Financial, Certifications, and Additional Information components). Send it for Senior Management Review. Submit. Follow-up. Debrief on successes and losses. I can step into a team and take on any piece of the puzzle, or manage the entire process. Whatever is required. With over 2,300 submissions in my career, I know what needs to be done, how it should sound, and how it should look.
